Dressing for the Winter Months...
The weather here in my area has gotten rather chilly lately. While I am quite happy to be leaving the hot, humid days of summer behind us (finally!!!), I often find myself unprepared in my wardrobe for the winter months.
Two posts I've come across lately have greatly encouraged me and given me goals in my wintertime shopping. Tammy has shared about Wearing Dresses in Winter and Mrs. Wilt has shared Fall and Winter Wardrobe Basics.
I wear dresses and skirts only and I really appreciate these two ladies taking time to share with us about their wardrobes- keeping warm and the "basics" of a warm wardrobe. So, no more aimless shopping for me! I am using them as my shopping guides this year!! Thank you ladies!!

Thanks for the heads-up! I enjoyed reading the posts and plan to link to them too. Tkx!
Very nice post. It is chilly here today. Winter is around the corner. Mary
Thanks for sharing those links. I'm going to check them out now!
I love dressing for winter--the possibilities are endless:)

Although I'm not "dresses only", I do enjoy wearing them pretty often. I often wear longjohns with knee-length boots underneath! Thanks for this post. I had read the two ladie's sites you mention. ;o)
I had seen Mrs. Wilt's post and loved her ideas, too! I will have to go check out the other one now! Just wondering, you said you wear only dresses and skirts, do you mind me asking where you buy them? It is so hard to find modest clothing nowadays. Hugs!
Thanks for the links to the articles. It's a timely subject for me, as we're just now having our first true spell of cold weather and I also have the sniffles.
