Anti-Procrastination Challenge: Thursday

I've been part of an anti-procrastination challenge all week long!!! I've been reading some of my very favorite blogs and BOY did the conviction set in!!!! I even left a few well-meaning comments on others' blogs that I needed to heed myself- "Good job!! Isn't it amazing how little time it takes to do something that we've been putting off for weeks?!!" HAHAHAAA!! All the while I was sitting here staring at my own little pile of procrastination.

So... without further procrastinating, I finally did it!! I've been wanting to purchase some day to day towels and then Susan over at A Place Called Home recently found some Martha Stewart dishcloths which were exactly what I've been wanting!!! So I purchased them the other night and brought them home to launder. I (Oops. Confession time here.) completely forgot about them being in the dryer and they came out looking like this...

You can probaby tell what I had been procrastinating- ironing!! LOL!! So I FINALLY have these all crisply ironed and ready to use. Aren't they just lovely now?

Thank you, Mrs. Wilt, for encouraging us to stop procrastinating!!

I have a whole pile of Ikea dishtowels that I love. How much better they would look if they were ironed. Such an inspiration! Great job.

To make you feel better, Mrs. U, those towels lend to being a bit wrinkled even when removed immediately upon dryer cycle end. It gets better with each washing, though. Aren't they lovely? :-) Have a load of those(and a fruit variety set) to go in the washer myself...won't procrastinate on ironing them because of your encouragement. :-)

deana(dee)...those are at KMart. You can see them online at:

Type in the search box: days of week OR kitchen towels(for varied offerings...the fruit ones I have aren't the ones currently shown).

The towels look great! I can barely force myself to iron clothes, let alone towels. :)

My mom has just left from a month long visit and a nice stack of freshly ironed tea towels are waiting to be used in my towel drawer thanks to her. It is so much nicer to have them pressed rather than just folded! My Grandmother ironed everything - I mean everything! Glad those days are long gone!
