Cleaning cabinets...

We have white cabinets. White cabinets show dirt very easily and, therefore, need to be cleaned more often. I used to DREAD this task until I discovered that a bowlful of warm soapy water, a wash cloth and a little elbow grease can clean the cabinets much more quickly than I was cleaning them before!!! I just add a touch of dishwashing liquid or liquid handsoap to my water and start cleaning away!! They are clean in no time now!!

Simple pleasures make all the difference sometimes - don't they? (PS - Thanks for the tip about Victoria magazine!)

I LOVE Palmolive. I wrote awhile back that I use it to keep my tubs squeaky clean. It's so cheap, and gentle on my hands, too!

Thanks a lot for passing by my blog and leaving a comment on my alliums! Oh, I suppose you found me via Kelli, right?

You are more than welcome to stop by my little country cottage garden again soon, I will be posting more alliums in bloom by the end of this week (my next post).

Best wishes from Germany,
Anita

Hello Mrs. U,

I've cleaned my kitchen cabinets this way for years. I use Simple Green since it has the degreasing agent in it. Makes a less than wonderful chore a lot easier. I envy you your white cabinets. I'd love to have all white cabinets with glass doors on the upper cabinets. Ah well. Maybe someday when I get my dream home.

Thanks for dropping in at my place. I was kidding of course but I do think the pronunciation of meme is just silly.

I have those white cabinets too... I love using those 'Mr. Clean Magic Eraser' Sponges on them! Less elbow grease!

Mrs U. I found your blog a long time ago on RQ ( we are LId 11-22-05). I check it almost daily.
I was wondering if you had some good cleaning tips for cleaning and mopping the kitchen floor. This is the job I dread the most.
Thank You.
