Making a House a Home involves all aspects of homemaking- cooking, cleaning, gardening, learning to be a godly wife and mother, and, above all, following the Lord Jesus Christ in all things.
Hello Mrs.U. I just wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog. I am also a Pastors wife. So happy to meet you! I do think it's important for a woman to be legitimately concerned about her appearance, but I also think its important to concentrate on the adornment of lovely qualities that remain unaffected by the passing of time and the breaking down of our bodies, like gentleness and quietness, developed by spending time with the Lord and all that involves. Only with His help and grace can I move in that direction.
I have to tell y'all, after I took the little "quiz" on the link, I was a little shocked at some of the things that I do that aren't necessarily taken as lady like behavior!!!!! OH MY!!! I have much to learn and am always thankful for the ways the Lord uses to grow me. :) So... that said... I'm working on being a little more lady like, but it's often hard with my two "boys" here at home!!! HAHA!!!
I am a born again Christian, saved by grace alone. I am happily married to Mr. U. We live in the South where I get to enjoy being his helpmeet and being a mother to our sweet children.

I strive to be one everyday but unfortunately I don't always succeed!
I am sure there have been days that I did not look my best but I do strive to achieve "lady" status daily.
