Show & Tell Friday- My Baby Spoon...

Today for Show & Tell Friday, I would like to share my baby spoon!! Yep, that's the exact same spoon that my mother used to feed me when I was a baby. She kept it all these years and gave it to me when we were expecting Elizabeth. I was so excited when she gave it to me and couldn't wait for it to become Elizabeth's baby spoon, too!!!

While she was already 10 months old when we brought her home, I did get a few months use out of it.

Thank you, Mom, for saving the spoon!!! It's a treasure (and not far from an antique, either!! HAHAHA!!!!).

Today at Kelli's blog, There's No Place Like Home, she is hosting (or should that be "hostessing"???) Show & Tell Friday. Be sure and head over there for more fun!!!

Mrs. U., Oh, that's really neat. I wish I still had my baby spoon. I just found your blog and I'm enjoying it. I just read your story of adoption. What a precious little girl. Thanks for sharing. I love your blog. Kathi

What a great show and tell. I hope I can remember because I have mine also. I just did memory boxes for my children with their silverware.

I have a silver baby spoon that my Mom saved.

I gave my kids their own baby spoons to save too!

Great S&T!

That's so sweet! I have my grown daughter's spoon and fork set. I use them for my grandchildren.

I love treasures like this that are from the family and mean something. What an heirloom to pass down to future generations.

How special to still have your baby spoon, and to pass it along to your children (and grandchildren!) My mother kept my baby shoes and I have them. I featured them on S&T some time ago.
