Do people know about our "It's a park day"... accompanied by our friends McDonald's and Diet Coke? What fun days those were!
Mrs. U, it is my very favorite beverage! Shh, I know it's not good for me:) There is only one thing missing in that picture, it simply must have a straw! LOL
GRETCHEN!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, today was TOTALLY a park day here, too!!! The weather was just right and I was missing you SOOO much!!
For those who probably don't know about "park day", when the weather was just right (not too hot, not too cold), either Gretchen or myself would call the other one and say "it's a park day, what time can you meet?" And we would pick up a bite to eat and meet at a park 1/2 way between where we worked. It was simply a fabulous time in my life- good food (usually McD's, I must confess!!!), beautiful weather and a loving, godly friend to talk with about our Lord Jesus Christ. Does it get ANY better????
Oh, and Susan, I COMPLETELY forgot about you and your straws!!! LOL!!!! If I am at a restaurant, I HAVE to have a straw (I start thinking about all the lips that have been on those glasses and I feel sick to my stomach! LOL!!). At home, though, my preferred method of drinking Diet Coke (Liquid Love is what Mr. U calls it- HA!) is from a VERY cold can poured into a glass, NOT plastic, but glass. Mmmmmm.....

Well, I'm addicted to Diet Pepsi, so I have the same habit. :o) Nothing better than a very cold refreshing drink to sip on all day long. And yes, it is even more special with a straw.
