I just watched this mini series (via Netflix) a few months ago. Loved it! I had no idea they were continuing the story! Very excited and thank for sharing.
yes, I, too, recently watched the Cranford series on Masterpiece Theatre online and LOVED IT! Even if they did have alot of characters dying. I am hoping that the "return" is not so sad and depressing in this regard.
Thank you for letting us know! I saw this earlier and was able to set up my recorder. The first was so awesome! I agree with Ann that I hope there isn't as much dying, though it seemed to be more often back in that time.
Well Ann and toswimalone, I had to laugh out loud when I watched the show tonight!! HA! So.... do you think there was much dying or sadness tonight? LOL!!! SURELY things are going to be looking up in Cranford soon!!!!
OH! I got news of this yesterday morning and the girls and I were WAY excited all day, counting down the hours. I let them stay up so we could watch (as we recorded - to hold us over until the 17th when it's released on dvd). LOTS of growing and stretching in Cranford. Can't believe we have to wait a full week for the second installment.
Oh my goodness I saw this was on the other night on my way to bed and decided to DVR it. I can't wait I'll be watching it tonight with a cup of tea and my jammies on. Love your blog :)
This series was a delight. I dvr-ed the series and then my husband and I watched them. So sad when the series was over. We loved it. Such quality actors. And such a gracious although difficult life. Lots of fun watching it with a cup of hot tea. :)

This is my first time on this site....via Ingrid's Hope Blog which I check daily.
I have never heard of this series. Therefore, I checked it out on Amazon.com and it looks great. SO..........I ordered a 3-set series with some Christmas $$ I've been saving for something fun and special. I can't wait to see them!!
I am a born again Christian, saved by grace alone. I am happily married to Mr. U. We live in the South where I get to enjoy being his helpmeet and being a mother to our sweet children.

Cranford is soooo good. I recorded it on VHS so I could watch it after Judah went down for the night.
In response to your comment on my blog:
Hi Mrs. U,
We are doing well. Things are just pretty busy these days and blogging is usually the first thing to go.
I am loving being a mom. I am so glad that God is letting me live out my dream. But, I am a little tired too.
Hopefully I can get back to the blogging world soon.
Thanks for the prayers and I am praying for your adoption as well.

thanks so much for telling us about this...I would have been so sad, had I missed it.
Oh I loved it when it was shown here in Sydney.
