I need some SERIOUS blogging help...

If anyone is hoping for a sweet, encouraging blog post, stop reading here. This is simply a post of me ranting and needing HELP!!! :)

Once again, I am having troubles with Photobucket. I upload the photos from my computer to Photobucket and then transfer them to my blog. But for the past month or so, when I take the photos from Photobucket to my blog, they are SUPER DUPER HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY?????? And, unless I resize them to teensy tinsy, they will NOT fit on my blog posts (they will be too wide and HUGE!)!!!!!!

Grrrrr......

And I've tried Flickr, as well. But I have YET to get a photo to upload with them. Each time Flickr has the message that it didn't upload and to try again. Ridiculous.

This is seriously getting on my nerves. I would LOVE to be able to share things here on my blog, but I can NOT figure out how to get the photos loaded properly.

Does anyone have any kind of suggestion???

Howdy! Been reading your blog for awhile now, but haven't commented before. I use PhotoBucket for all our photos. What I do is upload them to photobucket ... then I resize them (the 'medium' setting seems to be a PERFECT size for posting them on my blog) ... the copy the 'direct link' and paste it into the post text box. Works for me.
... hope that helps ...

I don't bother with photo bucket or anything, I just save the pictures onto my computer and then add them directly from my computer. Blegger gives the option for what size and where they are positioned. Very easy. :)

I upload my pictures to Kodak Easy Share (which has been downloaded from the Kodak site) since I use a Kodak camera.

I have to right click and save to pictures for the ones I want to use on the blog so it takes awhile but so far it has worked very well.

I do think using the medium setting on Blogger may help, though. I've had to do that with pictures I've saved from online sources.

I always use Blogger to upload my pictures. I hope you can get it figured out soon, because I know how frustrating it is to have something not work for you!!!

I just use Blogger to upload my pictures, and it always seems to work for me. I do try to resize them smaller first, though, because it takes up less space and loads faster for other people.

I use PhotoBucket for changing backgrounds for my family blog. I download free digi scrapbook papers to Adobe photoshop to then upload to PhotoBucket. You can resize pictures in most photo editing software, by changing the pixels high by pixels wide. That may help.

I saw on PhotoBucket yesterday that they have an editing feature to touch up your photos, and it includes a resizing feature, which is seperate from the resizing when you upload the pic. I just did that with a background, and it worked for me.

Good luck!

I upload all of my pictured from my computer directly to Blogger and choose the medium size option. No need to use photobucket.

I use tinypic.com - before you upload make sure you change it from standard to website (just below where you search for your images). I hope it works for you :o) That's what I do for pictures on the side, other wise I usually just use the Blogger uploader. Good luck!
