Ok, so I'm trying to do a little bloggy makeover here. It would seem, however, that I messed up my HTML years ago and can NOT get this blog looking like I'd like. If anyone could point me in the direction of someone that could help me (preferably for free), I'd be so grateful!!

I would think that resetting your blog by changing the format should change any HTML you've changed. If you change your blog to a new background, etc. that should override what you've changed.

I did reset the blog, right?? By going back to the boring one that is up now. Is that correct??
If so, when I tried to do the background from shabby blogs, the background did not go all the way up to the top of the screen. See how the blue on both sides of my blog (right now) go all the way from the bottom to the top of the screen? Well, the shabby blog thing I tried to insert stopped right below current header. WEIRD!! Then I inserted a shabby blog header which DID do in the center, but still the background was absent the bottom of the header to the top of the screen on both sides of the header. (Ok, did that make ANY sense? LOL!!!)
Not sure what to do....
