First day of school....

Yesterday was our first day of school here in our homeschool.  I consider Elizabeth to be in PreK even though her work is all K and 1st.  She is SO excited about learning more.

What cuties! I was a school teacher for years and years and what skills are taught now are way beyond and above what I had to teach at the grade levels I taught. What my grandchildren learned in Pre-K are really what we taught in Kindergarten and first grade skills are now taught in K.

If that isn't the sweetest set of sisters, I don't know what is! Happy school E!

Before you know it, Elizabeth will put you out of a "job" and want to start teaching Caroline! Playing school was always so much fun! I can't wait to learn all about teaching from YOU! Please tell Elizabeth that Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Melissa can't wait to hear everything she is learning!

A picture of pure joy!

The Lord has blessed you with such sweet daughters!

What have you decided on curriculum? I love talking about curriculum because it seems like one gets to choose the best fit for your family amongst a collection of great curriculums now!

Your girls are so BEAUTIFUL! I have missed you. I had my computer crash last July and I'm just now having the thoughts of who I'm missing in my bookmarks. I have a lot of catching up to do. Glad I found you again.
