Vision Forum...

I LOVE to read!! I love to curl up with a good book and get lost in the pages. Be it homemaking, historical fiction, biography, cookbooks or Christian fiction, I LOVE to read!!

One of my favorite places to purchase books from is Vision Forum. They have wholesome, Christian literature that is encouraging, challenging and uplifting. They have wonderful sales, too!! When one of their catalogs arrives in the mail, you will find me all alone, s-l-o-w-l-y pouring over the pages to figure out what newest adventure I want to go on through the pages of a book.

I just LOVE to read!!!

What about you? Where do you like to purchase your books? Do you LOVE to read, too??

I love to read also--but love to read the news!! I told myself I wasn't going to buy any more books until I read the Bible--didn't work!! My latest purchase, which I should blog about, were two books--one on sewing and the other on quilting (I don't do either, but would love to learn.) Most of my previous book purchases have been through Amazon.

Blessings,
Paula

I buy 99% of my books from Amazon. I read constantly. If a day goes by that I haven't spent some time reading (perish the thought!) I feel like that day has been wasted, no matter what else I did.
I no longer support Vision Forum because of all the controversy with Doug Phillips. He is not someone I choose to follow or support.

Hello Mrs U,

I look through the Vision Forum website often and am signed up for the email notices on specials. They have some tremendous deals at Christmas-time; I look forward to picking up some wholesome books this winter.

I really enjoy non-fiction books about history, nature, biblical roles for women, home business, etc. I also really like the Little House series.

Take Care,

Trixie

Mrs. U! I left you a comment on my blog! Thank you so much for stopping by!

The pie recipe was the apple pie recipe straight out of Betty Crocker. I have copies from 3 decades! The recipe is the same in all 3! (I also cheated and used a Pillsbury crust)

Books... Love to read. My favorite series is by Jan Karon, At Home in Mitford. I think you would adore them.

I am a libray girl... saves $ and space. (except for kids books, that's different!)

I LOVE to read. It is my favorite hobby. I have never bought or ordered from Vision Forum, simply because I think they're a little expensive.

I order from Christian Book dot com, a homeschool Christian book discounter and Amazon. Occasionally I will use my educator's (homeschool) discount at Books a Million. I also use the library, but our library system is sadly lacking in good material.

I also love to visit the Salvation Army store and Goodwill. You can find great books, many of them brand new, at both places for under $1.00.

I love to read, when I have time. With 2 young children, it's hard sometimes to find the time!

My mother worked for a book publishing company and used to get me books all the time. I eventually donated them, I ran out of room in my house! Now I never buy books, I go to the library. And it's so much less expensive.
