How to eat a biscuit...

Choose the biscuit that you would like to eat.

If you cannot pick up the entire biscuit, carefully pick up a piece in your hand.

Take a bite of your biscuit.

Enjoy eating your biscuit (but please try to keep your mouth closed while you are chewing).

Eat only as much as needed. You do not need to finish the entire biscuit if you aren't that hungry. Oh, and mommy will happily clean up your dishes. :)

Too cute! I never, ever leave a single biscuit crumb - maybe I should?

She is a doll.

Sweet photos of your little girl! Are those homemade biscuits? If so, perhaps you'd like to share the recipe....I have yet to make a good, fluffy biscuit!

Hi Darcy!
Yes, they are homemade biscuits, but I hesitate to share the recipe because... well... there is really NO recipe!!! I think I use about 2 cups of self-rising flour, then I cut in about 1/4 cup of shortening. Then I stir in milk until it is the right consistency- not too dry and not too wet. Then I put the dough on my counter, cut them into biscuit rounds (I use a quart canning jar) and bake in a 425 degree oven for about 14 minutes. As soon as they come out of the oven, I quickly brush butter over the top. They are YUMMMMMY, but, like I said, hard to give the recipe for. It's more of a trial and error kind of thing.

I know this didn't help at all! If you were close to me, I would just say "Come on over and let's make biscuits together!!!!"

His,
Mrs. U

Mrs. U,

Thank you for sharing the recipe, or at least the method you use to make those fluffy, yummy-looking biscuits. I have never used self-rising flour when I've tried making biscuits so maybe that will do the trick!

BTW, I replied to your questions about the artichoke dip at my blog on that same post.
