Do you wear cleaning gloves?

Okay, so I do not normally wear cleaning gloves... but when I saw the super cute gloves that Kim and Aggie were wearing, I knew I needed to find some!!!

While I can't find their exact gloves, I did find a website with adorable cleaning gloves! It's called ComfyBath and the gloves are called Gloveables (how cute is that?). So in case anyone is interested in purchasing something besides the standard yellow gloves that we can find at any store, we now have a choice!!

Do any of you wear cleaning gloves on a regular basis? If so, how long have you been wearing them to clean?

(And yes, those are the cleaning gloves that I want!! TOOO CUTE!!!)

I am wierd... I DO NOT like to wear cleaning cloves. Isn't it strange??? I do, however, wear surgical gloves to clean. That's probablt even stranger.

I use to wear clothes to wash dishes in my younger years. You know I had to protect the nail polish! I no longer use them. My hands get so hot when I am wearing them that I opted to stop using them. BTW I no longer paint my nails!

Those are adorable! Still, I don't like wearing gloves, so I probably wouldn't like wearing those. =) No, I don't typically wear gloves to clean in.

I was not raised to wear gloves to clean. Then again, I was not raised to be a housewife either! Such a shame.

I did however wear gloves to clean when we moved to our new home and there was such filth!

These gloves make me want to learn to wear gloves to clean! Even if it is just the dishes!

I love them!

I wear them occasionally, especially if it's a really nasty cleaning job.

Those gloves are adorable, but at that price I would just scream if I tore a hole in one of them!

Blessings,
Mrs. C

I'm jsut too lazy... I have a pair though I use them only when I am using extremely hot water. I used them when I washed Chris' baby bottles (long time ago) and I use them now for cleaning the Hamster cages and tubes. I have found that the rubber actually helps me get a good grip on the rings that hold the tubes together, helping them come apart easier...

I have heard that William Sonoma's gloves are really nice and they come in pretty colors.. no ribbons or bows though!

I DO use disposable plastic food handling gloves in the kitchen for handling meat. I love them for mixing meatloaf and making burgers. They are very cheap at Sam's club about 1000 for $5 or $6. Very handy!

Mrs. U, no I do not wear cleaning gloves though I know I should to protect my hands. Those are the CUTEST cleaning gloves I've ever seen!

I love to wear cleaning gloves! Give me an apron, and I'm the cleaning knightett in armor.

I've been on your blog all morning because I like the music, and my baby son is sleeping right next to the computer. He likes to sleep to music. :)

Very cute gloves! I hardly ever wear gloves to clean. I really would like to get in the habit, especially while washing dishes, to keep my hands from getting dry.

I do like the gloves, very nice.

They are soooo cute that I wouldn't want to mess them up with cleaning products!! I think I just defeated the purpose of the gloves!

Even though I only use all natural, homemade (mostly vinegar and baking soda) cleaning products I still need gloves because my skin is very sensitive. These that you found are so cute, I will have to upgrade my old yellow ones! Great find!!!

I don't usually wear gloves, but I did find some really cute ones at Target that I use when I am scrubbing the floors.

I like to wear gloves to clean and scrub, but not often in the dish water since that soap is pretty mild and actually seems to soften my hands a bit. I like Mrs. Meyers clean day products, so those cute gloves + Mrs. M. + a vintage apron + some big band music, and I'd be a happy cleaning momma all the day! I have been known to sew a bit of lace to my rubber gloves - mine are red orange and yellow swirlies and they are just cheap at Meijers, but I might spurge for some cute pink ones!

Thanks for the visit and the sweet comment.... Betty

I DON'T wear cleaning gloves, although those are adorable. I, like Christina, do wear latex surgical gloves for gardening and really gross cleaning. They seem to fit so much better and I can feel things with my fingertips. But, for everyday, normal housework, I have never worn gloves. I just never got into the habit.

Back from a break;it's good to be checking in again. I wear surgical gloves, makes it much easier than bulky rubber gloves.

I use gloves for the following: cleaning out the oven, when using super hot water, when cleaning someone else's house, if I have to reach down into the toilet. Other than that, I go without. My husband tried to get me to use them all the time when I was pregnant with our first, but that ended badly...I couldn't ever remember to put them on! We decided to switch to chemical free cleaning products instead.

I always wear gloves to clean--I think it's because my mother wore them for almost everything. In fact, she even bought all us kids small-sized rubber gloves for when we did our chores!

I wear mine for almost everything, and those ones are adorable! They are definitely going on my Christmas list this year!

Mrs. U-

Is everything fine with your family? You usually don't go this long in between posts. I hope you all are fine.

The pink & gingham gloves are too cute! But I do not like to wear gloves when I do housework...I can't "feel" what I'm doing, & for some reason it makes me feel claustrophobic! (I will put gloves on if I'm stripping a piece of furniture or something). Maybe I should, though...I think I have "old" looking hands!

I'm always wearing cleaning gloves however I don't like wearing those things. But I'm a professional cleaner, and you can't clean 40 hours a week with your bare hands.
So I have to put on some gloves...

A few years before, I was never wearing gloves, thill the day I got eczema.

I do wear gloves when I clean - pink ones (in a very similar color to the ones you show from Williams Sonoma) for the kitchen and a seperate pair (also heavy duty ones) in blue for cleaning the bathroom. I don't like the idea of cleaning my dishes in the same gloves that I clean my toilet, so keep two pairs . . . when I have to replace them, though, the link you sent will one I'll keep in mind!
