He is teaching me patience, patience, & more patience...to trust Him above everyone & all else. And it's hard to learn! I'm reading the Bible thru this year too.

RhodaRhoda @ Southern Hospitalityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16741881774379561710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30507214.post-14138384875345137332007-06-14T16:43:00.000-04:002007-06-14T16:43:00.000-04:00Thank you for this gentle reminder:)Julieann:)Thank you for this gentle reminder:)

Julieann:)Julieannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11366445046704238024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30507214.post-74286008186903982612007-06-14T14:40:00.000-04:002007-06-14T14:40:00.000-04:00Hello Mrs. U----Thank you for the excellent remind...Hello Mrs. U----

Thank you for the excellent reminder. We have so many things calling to take our attention away from the Lord. It is easy to get distracted with something that "needs" to be done, rather than what is most important.

The few times, I skip (or delay until much later) my meeting with the Lord results in a very frazzled, disconnected day.

We NEED to talk to Him, to sit quietly in His presence and to read His word.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30507214.post-12971348710337622932007-06-13T15:36:00.000-04:002007-06-13T15:36:00.000-04:00I definitely agree. Todays reading was Psalm 150, "Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!"
